Saturday's Adventures

Yesterday was an eventful day! I can say that I did plenty of things. Here's what I did.

Early afternoon-took my computer test, felt very prepared and to say the least still didn't do too well. I HATE tests with a passion, I've never been one that has been great at them.
I study my butt off & still it's never a good success. My brother Zach is the opposite, he's one that can study a bit or not at all and Ace's a test.

Went to Walmart after with my parents and Connor for a bit, then caught up on my shows afterwards.
Pretty Little Liars season just ended. First season of the voice for me, got started recently on Smash & love watching American Idol with my family.

Loved the weather outside, so Connor and I decided to jump on the trampoline, had been awhile. First time this season!
Then I had a cute little visitor stop by, Bryce. He heard we were in the backyard and we hear this little knock on the fench as he wants to come in and play.
He showed me his new soccer move and then we played some basketball, which he beat me at :)
Connor did the Tebow & Bryce had to do his Tebow move also.

Later had to visit the new City Creek Center with the family and Sara, which I couldn't get enough of. Loved it!
It was so crowded, I had heard the first day there was 50,000 people there and the third day didn't seem to be much different. It didn't feel like I was in Salt Lake, reminded me of downtown New York. I told my mom it also felt like an amusement park with how crowded it was. I did find some good finds there. After we headed over to the Bonfire with a bunch of friends in West Point. Perfect end to the night!
What can I say, it was a very eventful day like I mentioned I didn't want it to end.

Peep Please!

I'm following  a cute friend of mine Whitney. She recently did a post for Peep Please by dumping out the contents of her purse to take a look at what's inside. She invited me to do the same and I couldn't help but think this is a fun idea. I use my purse quite often, many things come and go inside of it.

Like she did here's more of an explanation of what each item is or means to me..
From left to right.
1. Camera & it's case, so i forget that I have this when I have my purse most of the time and I have been so bad lately with taking pictures. So now that it's not buried at the bottom I need to remember I have it.
2. Cinnamon mints-from Cafe Rio. I love them both, every time I go I make sure I get a few of these. I went with my friend Romalynn tonight so it's something new that I added in my purse.
3. Listerine strips, my mom uses these and I couldn't help but buy some for me to have. They are handy when you don't want a piece of gum.
4. Pepper spray, thanks to uncle Matt I have this handy-never know when its useful.
5. My cute bracelet I recieved on Valentine's day this year from my cute little "boyfriend" Bryce. He's my neighbor who has had a crush on me for some time. He's six, the cutest little boy. He had to add his favorite animal on it, a turtle. I meant to wear it on St. Patrick's day and ended up in my purse instead.
6. Antibacterial-enough said. Love this stuff
7. Kleenex's never know when one is needed.
8. Headband from Sara, wore it today and took it off on the way home and ended up in the pile in my purse. Love it!
9. Keys, can't manage without those. I love my Sexy Jeep as it has been named. Along with my snazzy keychains. My brother Connor made me one of them.
10. Never know when you need to refreshen your make-up. It's a Neutrogena bronzer.
11. Android phone, good accessory to always have.
12. Gloss & chapstick
13. I <3 u bag is full of coupons-which I forget about. My mom is a savy shopper and has taught me well.
14. VS lotion, Christmas present from McCall-Love the smell!
15. Wallet, good size & was only 3 dollars!
16. Comb, also a needed essential when being out & about.

There you go! Peep please contents have been exposed. It's my essentials in a purse. I'm glad I did this, you never realize all that you do have sometimes in your purse. I haven't looked inside at everything for awhile. I'm curious if you fellow bloggers would like to take a peep in yours also. If you do, please click on the link and join all of us who have done this also! In case the link doesn't work on the picture, twosmuppies.com

Spring Break

Lately, it's been good.
Can't complain, spring break was nice and relaxing after work
& I can say that I'm not ready again for school again this coming week.
math ugghhh..enough said right.
I didn't do anything excited but the time well spent with family & friends
is always worthwhile.

What i've been up to since last update:

The Bountiful temple is gorgeous inside & out.
Was able to go to a session with Mike a couple of weeks ago here.
Lot's of fun!

Sister time Friday night

& Saturday-shopping in the afternoon with mom and Alex,
then lunch with visiting teachers Erin and Angelina at Zupas,
along with Alex and Sara.
Love that place!

Last night was Paden's homecoming party which was a blast!
It's so fun to visit and see old friends, friendships that I hope last with years to come.
All of my friends are now back from their mission.
So it's good to have them back.
I didn't take any photos [which I need to do better at]
However the memories will last.
I feel like you can never have too many friends, I think the more the better.
I love meeting new people, it's what life is about right.

It was a good end to the week & got to enjoy Paden's talk today as well.

On my playlist this week, love how it can express so much.
Katherine Mcphee- Over it
Ella Mae Brown- Holding Out For a Hero
Florence & the machine- Shake It Out

I feel like trials can take awhile to overcome, yet when you think they are over they still aren't. It's hard some days more than others but I know that I have the Lord to rely on and eventually things will be the same again with family that I love. It takes time and is all part of why we are here and the lessons that need to be learned from.
I've learned so much with all that I've witnessed and have gone through emotionally and spritually. But my testimony can't be shaken and I have a firm and strong testimony now.
The gospel has been such a great blessing in my life.

Fresh & New

Welcome to the new blog!
& more updates have finally arrived as well as
I thought it would be good way to have a fresh new start!

To begin by an update:
Going to school currently at weber & almost
ready to graduate with my associates.
Working keeps me plenty busy also.
So I stay plenty busy with those two in my life right now.

Life has been great, we can only learn from the past & the trials we face to make it stronger. Being optimistic has been the best way for me to look ahead and makes me excited about the future that is ahead for me. Wonderful friends and family make it all the better to have! Thanks everyone.

Was an incredible session and was able to share with them two!-Feb 25, 2012

Life has been fun & these are some events of what has happened that I have documented in photos to share! There are plenty more events that have happened.
New beginnings will be on this blog and I'm happy to share it with everyone.
What someone may experience, may in turn help someone else.
We never know what influence we have upon people and I plan to make mine a positive one!
